Article Rewrite Softwares: Do They Really Work?

Before I answer the question,  I’d like to apologize to all the article rewrite and  content rewrite software developers for blurting out the truth! I’ve had enough if *B.S* about automated systems that can do a job of a human. Anyway, this is NOT a deliberate attempt to undermine anyone in particular. I love you all. I just wanted to share my honest opinion.

Being an Internet marketer for so long (since 2004), I’ve tried various tools and softwares that would, presumably, make my life easier and give me more time to do other important tasks. Basically, I didn’t want to be ‘bogged down’ with repetitive and boring work such as content and article writing.

So, I began scouting around for an easy way out. Downloading artice rewriting tools.

Side Note : All those of you who are still scouting around for the ‘perfect’ article rewriter, DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY until you’ve finished reading  this entire post!!!

So, to answer the question, “Do these tools work? The answer is NO! Let me explain why…

1) Google Is Very Strict When It Comes To Duplicate Content

Since, more and more people have become dependent on computers, technology and the Internet and,  many more have begun jumping on the ‘make money from the Internet’ bandwagon, as a result, a lot of ‘rubbish’ has been spreading on the Information Super-highway over the last few years!

My main point when saying this is, you’ll find lots and lots of irrelevant, unrelated, untargeted, content either in blog posts, website homepages, article directories etc. And this is not a good thing. People may STOP depending someday on the the Internet for information sourcing due to these factors.

Did you also know, Google is very particular when it comes to copywright laws, plageurism, and duplicate content?

How do I know this? It’s clealy stated in its Webmaster Guidelines.

But even from my own personal experience, during my initial years of marketing online, I used to make things easy for myself by bluntly coying content from EzineArticles.com and pasting them in my websites and blogs. Yup! Just like that! (Shh…some of the sites are still live on the Net) But what I realised is, the search rankings for most of my sites began to drop.

At one point, I was ranked No.1 and then…all of a sudden…. **BHOOM…No. 29,456. I mean literally the rankings dropped and my sites were no where to be seen. Not on the 1st page, not even on the 2nd page, heck…not even on the 3rd page. That’s when I realised, something was wrong.

BECAREFULL!!! Today, with the advancement in technology, Google has the ability to simply identify duplicate content within seconds upon you publishing your website or blog. Google TOTALLY dislikes duplicate content!

Some article rewrite programmers say, their tools can can churn close to 95% uniqueness, I say bravo! BUT Google wants 100%!!!

(Content uniqueness is a measurement of how unique is a rewritten content compared to the original source and is measured in percentage %)

2) Are You Writing For Humans or Robots?

So, after scouting around for a while, I was tempted to try out a few of these tools. So, I went ahead and bought a few hoping it will help me save time and generate unique content automatically! Boy…was I in for a surprise!

In the end, after trying them all (sorry, i won’t mention specific product names), neither of them worked to my expectation. On the reverse, I ended up spending more time figuring out the confusing features of the softwares and was totally dissapointed with the results! I even returned a few of them back and claimed a full  refund!

Guys! and gals! bloggers and webmasters…whom are you writing your content for? Robots or humans? Think about it! For humans of course. Ask yourself, how would you feel if you found a blog which promised you a solution to a problem and when you visited the site, NONE of the content made sense to you.

So, the bottomline is, I still ended up spending more time  proof-reading, re-editing and making sure the article or content was humanly readable and made sense.

3) The Best Article Rewriting Software Is….

YOU! I mean your mind and brainlah! What can beat a brain? Especially when it comes to writing speech content. What the heck is ‘speech content’?  Writing what you feel, think and speak. How can a computer program, think feel and speak like a human would?! You know the answer to that.

So, I’ve TOTALLY abandoned these softwares now and rely heavily on myself and my brain. BUT here is what I can suggest and it won’t cost you a dime…it’s totally FREE!
